I've been an Oklahoman all my life, raised mainly in Edmond before dedicating over nine years to the US Navy. I hold a BBA from UCO, an MBA from OSU, and an MEd from UCO. I'm blessed with a wonderful wife, two sons born 20 years apart, a granddaughter at OSU, and a grandson at Edmond Memorial. After my service ended in 1987, I ventured into manufacturing for 15 years. Since 2004, I've been with Francis Tuttle Technology Center, coordinating training for both public and private sectors and advising manufacturers, a role shared with the Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance from 2008 to 2021. My current mission is to identify organizations in need of training within the community and ensure it's delivered. It's incredibly rewarding to help solve the problems of others.
